"Australian
Portable Camps is the sole Australian provider of innovative camp solutions
aimed to meet specific project needs and individual site environmental
requirements"
In January 2007 APC commissioned construction of an accommodation and pipe
laying barge in Singapore.
The barge is designed to operate in relatively shallow inshore environments and can accommodate up to 292 persons in ensuited accommodation.
It has been built with the Australian market in mind and as a consequence it offers facilities far superior to similar barges currently in use.
The launch ceremony took place around midnight in late June 2008.
See below for Current News and Specifications of the Aussie 1 barge.
